Job Application Tracker
A simple job application tracker built with React that helps users keep track of jobs they have applied for and update their application progress.
What it does
Job Tracker helps users organize their job applications and track their progress. Users can add, update, and delete applications, with statuses including Applied, Interview, Offer, and Rejected. The application saves records locally so they remain after refreshing the page and has a responsive layout for different screen sizes.
How I built it
I built the application using React, JavaScript, CSS, and Vite. I divided the interface into reusable components and used React state to manage applications and update the interface when users made changes. I used Local Storage with JSON to save and retrieve application records.
What I learned
This project helped me understand how React state keeps the interface connected to application data. I practiced building reusable components, handling forms and user events, and updating records without changing unrelated applications. I also strengthened my skills in saving data with Local Storage, debugging, and creating responsive layouts.
